HID lighting system and HID lamp: that’s the abbreviation of “high intensity discharge lamp”
　　HID lighting system , which is function when injecting the xenon and mental halide into the HID tube, And meanwhile, as the control system producing 23000 watts’ pressure, the light make the electrode and the mental atom in the tube to crash each other so as to make it sparkle.

HID system components:

1. Bulb: the xenon and the mercury metal organic halide salts in the emission photo tube inspire the both side’s molybdenum pole to discharge and release the energy so as to sparkle
2. Ignitor: that’s an electronic amplifier which is used to receive the current from ballast and to release the voltage to Arc light source in all atmosphere. It initializes the plasma panel discharger by transfer the high pulse to the electrode.
3. Ballast: It is an electronic control unit which initializes arc and offer the stable current source to both bulb and ignitor when in the normal arc condition.

Advantage of HID:
　　The recent halogen lamp works by the 12volts current power system(the lamp filament)to sparkle, so compared with it, HID can save the filament which damaged in the halogen lamp. The other advantage, with the low consumption which is only 50%of the halogen lamp, the high brightness of HID is 3 times as the former one and the long lifespan is 5 times than it. As HID system only consume 35watt’s power, so it is low consumption and can bring car high efficiency and security.

　　The difference between halogen lamp and HID xenon lamp
　　The color and intensity brightness which discharged by HID is nearly to the sunlight and will not cause any damage of the eyesight. So the visibility in the night is much enhanced and make the driver can see much further and clearer. In this way can also make the driver more relax and safer. What’s more, even under the horrible weather, it can also see clear, so it enhances the security. Almost half of the car accident in the night is caused by the insufficient power of the lighting system, and moreover, the age is also an important point, the elder driver needs 10times intensity power than the younger ones.
